Mission

ELOHIM-LCSD (ELOHIM LINK UP COMMUNITIES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT) is a Non-Government Organization (registered in Rwanda as local NGO and in Central African Republic as an International NGO whose mission is to carry out activities linked to technical support, advisory services and advocacy for projects implementers and set up the impacts visibility for the community-beneficiaries in order to contribute to the sustainable development of the Country. This mission is becoming a reality by implementing role model programmes and/or projects as well as research in different areas of sustainable development towards more inclusive and sustainable communities.

Vision

ELOHIM-LCSD’s vision is to contribute to the achievement of the global and national strategies for the socio-economic development of the country; by empowering communities to act and participate in their development and so improve their quality of life.   

Objectives

  • Strengthening capacities and/or coaching of community based project implementers in sustainable use and management of resources (grants management, knowledge management, financial management, human management…)
  • Increasing awareness on developing project impacts during the planning phase of the project (or when writing proposals).
  • Promoting actions aimed at knowing the essence of inclusive socio-economic development with Leaving No One Behind (LNOB) perspective in order to increase standard of living for communities in targeted areas.
  • Providing substantial information (through Research and Development) to donors, development partners, local authorities and/or other different stakeholders regarding sustainability, accountability, efficiency and effective delivery of the targeted programme/ project. 
  • Pleading for the information sharing by empowering project implementers to establish a platform to oversee and coordinate the communication on the programme/project impacts in targeted areas.
  • Promoting sustainable development by ensuring capacity building of project implementers in planning, reporting and evaluation to provide reliable and consistent information on the programme/project impacts.
